Frequently Asked Questions

For Dancers

who is this for?

TOUR MODE is designed for serious dancers ages 16 and up (or 13+ by special request) who are ready to train like they’ve already been booked. Whether you're a rising talent or an experienced performer, this program is built for dancers who are actively pursuing or preparing for professional work — especially commercial tours, residencies, and live shows.

This is not a fan event or open-level convention — it’s a professional-level bootcamp. Dancers in their 20s and 30s are not only welcome but strongly encouraged to attend, especially those aiming to sharpen their skills for industry opportunities.

What is the schedule?

Each day runs from 9:00 AM to approximately 7:00 PM, with breaks scheduled throughout. All 50 dancers train together — there are no class rotations. Instead, dancers will move collectively through choreography sessions, tech labs, tour-style rehearsals, and industry panels.

A full schedule will be emailed prior to the event and included in your welcome packet.

What should I wear?

All dancers must wear all-black rehearsal attire each day — clean, fitted, and tour-ready. No logos, graphics, or loud colors.

For Day 2, be “Camera Ready”

What should I bring?

Bring your fully packed dance bag with:

  • Extra black outfits

  • Knee pads

  • Water bottle

  • Towel & deodorant

  • Notebook + pen

  • Comfortable rehearsal shoes

  • Personal grooming/hygiene items

Do I need anything for the mock tour audition?

Yes — dancers must bring a printed resume and an 9x11 headshot or dance photo (color or black and white). This audition will be run like a real callback.

What should I wear for the TOURBOOK photo?

Each dancer must bring one performance-ready outfit for their official TOUR MODE cast photo.

Tourbook Theme:
“On the Road” — Artist-Ready Styling
Think: Sleek, bold, fashion-forward. What you’d wear for a promo shoot after getting cast. Statement jackets, performance boots, gloves, or accessories are welcome.

Avoid logos, basic loungewear, or casual looks.

Will I be filmed or photographed during the event?

Yes, select moments will be captured by our media team. Personal filming is not allowed in closed sessions.

If you purchased a Pro Footage Package or Dancer Spotlight Video, you’ll receive professionally edited clips post-event.

FOR PARENTS

can i observe the event?

No. TOUR MODE is a closed-set training experience to reflect the professionalism of tour rehearsals. For dancers 17 and under, parents will check in each day but will not be allowed in the studio after that point.

what safety measures are in place?

All dancers are supervised by trained staff and faculty

  1. Emergency contact forms are required

  2. Entry and exit are closely monitored

  3. A parent facility walkthrough is available at check-in

Is there anything for parents to attend?

Yes! We offer a free Parent Q&A Panel for both days, hosted by industry professionals and faculty. It’s a chance to ask questions and understand how to support your dancer’s path toward professional touring.

RSVP required at registration.

What’s the SoFi Stadium Tour Add-On?

The SoFi Stadium Tour is an optional experience held the Sunday after bootcamp, offering dancers (and parents) a rare behind-the-scenes look at one of the largest and most iconic concert venues in Los Angeles.

You’ll get to explore what a real day on tour feels like — from the production zones to the locker rooms and artist entrances — and see where major artists prepare before hitting the stage. SoFi’s educational tours are designed to give students an inside look at how a stadium show comes to life, including insights into venue operations, production logistics, and performance flow.

Tour tickets include complimentary parking at SoFi Stadium and are a great experience for both dancers and their families.

Transportation is not included. Parents may attend by purchasing a separate add-on pass.

what’s your refund policy?

All payments are non-refundable. If a dancer is unable to attend, they may:

  • Request a credit toward a future TOUR MODE event (pending availability)

  • Or transfer their registration to another dancer, with written approval from our team

Transfer requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the event and are subject to verification and approval. Add-ons are non-transferable.
